Treatment Team

As specialists in rehabilitation for individuals with life-changing injuries, illnesses, and other challenges, Sevita’s treatment team empowers people to reach their potential through our outcome-driven, community-based rehabilitation programs and supports.

From the admissions team member who takes a family’s first call, to the rehabilitation specialists who provide therapy and support, we’re experts at what we do. And we’re passionate about helping people live more independent lives. We support the people we serve in living well, no matter what challenges they face.

Support tailored to each person’s needs

Each member of our rehabilitation team brings a specific set of skills. Together, they provide an array of quality services and compassionate care for the individuals we support and their families. The make-up of an individual’s clinical team and the services they provide depends on each person’s specific treatment plan but may include the following roles.

Our Admissions team works with an individual’s whole circle of care to find the right program for their needs.

Behavioral Analysts help individuals work through emotional and mental health needs and build skills along their journey.

Case Managers coordinate all aspects of a person’s care. They make sure each person is getting the supports they need to recover and live well.

Clinical Evaluators identify the supports that can help each person reach their treatment goals.

Education Specialists teach in our schools and help children transition back to their home school when it’s time to go home.

Life Skills Trainers support individuals each day to help them reach their recovery goals. They help them regain skills and enjoy activities in the community.

Our Medical Directors provide clinical expertise to our programs and each individual’s rehabilitation and medical services.

Neuropsychologists help individuals work through behavioral challenges that may come with brain injury so they can live more independently.

Nurses provide daily medical care, including medication management. They help with nutrition and support each person’s overall wellness.

Occupational Therapists help improve self-care, motor skills, and other skills needed for more independent living.

Physical Therapists help individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, and other skills to help them toward recovery.

Rehabilitation Therapists work with individuals on their treatment plan goals and support them in daily activities.

We work together with many different physicians with advanced education and training in medical specialty areas to ensure expert care.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists help improve skills related to speech, communication, thinking/cognitive skill, and memory.

Our Therapeutic Recreation Specialists help people enjoy therapeutic activities that can help them along their recovery journey.

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors support individuals through the process of finding meaningful work if that is their goal.
