Kari Groebner, an Individual Served by Sevita, Wins Silver Medal in Special Olympics USA Games

Kari Groebner, an individual served by Sevita in Minnesota, recently won a silver medal along with her team in the 3-on-3 half-court basketball competition at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. Kari and her team were Minnesota’s first all-female half court basketball team to compete in the USA Games.

Kari has participated in Special Olympics Minnesota events for over 26 years and enjoys playing many other sports including bowling and track and field. She was recently interviewed by the Marshall Independent about her success in athletics. Read the story
