In Sevita’s kinship foster care program, children live with members of their extended family, who open their homes as foster parents.
They can be grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins. They can be other important people in the child’s life, such as a teacher or friend of the family. Whatever their relationship to the child, they can provide the family bonds a child needs to heal and grow. And our caring team of experts is here to support the whole family.
Healing family relationships
Sevita believes that loving family relationships can help children who’ve been through tough times heal. We follow a trauma-informed clinical model to help children heal and move forward in life with the help of loving, supportive family bonds.
We need more people who have loving hearts who will help kids when no one else can.MaygenIndividual adopted from foster careRead Maygen's Story
Become a foster parent
Like all our Mentors, our kinship foster parents are never alone. We provide skill development to help them build parenting skills. And we’re here to support them as they welcome children into their homes.
