At REM Nevada, we believe everyone has the right to live well. Since 2003, we’ve helped people of all abilities live their best lives in their community. Our caring team members get to know each person we serve to learn about their needs and interests and design a service plan just for them. From group homes to host homes, day programs and more, we’re here to help people reach their goals and live full, joyful lives.
Our Services
We offer intermittent and independent living. We’ll work closely with each adult and their families to find the right mix of services that helps them live well. Our residences are small, welcoming homes with services including:
- 24/7 awake supervision
- Assisted daily living skill development
- Medication supports
- Support being active in the community
- Behavioral supports
Also known as host homes, our shared living programs match adults with nurturing caregivers, who welcome them into their homes. Host home providers support the adults in their homes in becoming more independent, forming strong relationships, and reaching their personal goals.
Also known as day programs, our programs offer fun daytime activities that help adults build skills, make friends, and enjoy exciting activities in the community. Support and activities may include:
- Job skills training
- Art and music
- Cooking
- Reading
- Community activities

Become a host home provider
In our Shared Living program, also known as host homes, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live with supportive host home providers and become part of their family. These special providers help the people they support build independent living skills and live full, joyful lives. As a host home provider, you can make a difference for an adult in your community.
