At Illinois Mentor, we believe everyone deserves to live a full, independent life of their own choosing. Since 1989, we’ve helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as medically complex and other needs build the independent living skills and strong relationships they need to thrive. With supports tailored to each person’s needs, we support people as they learn, grow, and reach their personal goals.
Our Services
Our group homes (Group Home CILA 24-Hour Shift Staff) are warm and welcoming residences where adults with a wide range of needs get the daily support they need to thrive. Services include support with daily living such as meals and personal care, skill building, and fun community activities.
In our host home programs, adults with disabilities live in private family homes with nurturing caregivers, who we call Mentors. Individuals become part of their Mentor’s family and get support with independent living skill development, personal care, and more.
In our Intermittent CILA programs (less than 24-Hour Support), caring team members support individuals in their own homes or other residential settings. Services are tailored to each person’s needs to provide the amount of support they need and want. Services may include support with daily living such as meals and personal care, skill building, and more.
