For most acquisitions, we use a three-phase process that begins with a confidentiality agreement and review of your company’s financial and operational information. This is to determine if we’d be a good fit for each other. Our knowledgeable team is here to walk you through the process and support you each step of the way.
No. Our confidentiality agreement requires strict confidentiality throughout the process. If you decide to move forward, we’ll create a communication plan with you to notify employees, partners, and other stakeholders when appropriate.
Each organization is different. We make a thorough review of your company’s financial and operations information so that we can make an informed offer that meets everyone’s goals.
Sevita is committed to ensuring that services are not interrupted at any stage of the process. Individuals will be supported in the same care setting by the same caring people they have in the past. A big part of our planning process is about making sure that they and their families feel comfortable and informed and the change is a smooth one.
Employees are the heart of what we do. We see acquisitions as an opportunity to welcome even more talented and passionate individuals into our family. We strive to make the transition as smooth as possible for employees. In a typical transaction, virtually all employees of the acquired company will choose to join the Sevita team. Many of our operations management team members have come to us through acquisition.
If an agreement is signed, our team will meet with your employees to discuss onboarding, training, and benefits. We’ll also spend time answering any questions they may have. We know this can be a stressful and uncertain time, and we’ll do everything we can to make it an easy process for them.
Some owners prefer to start a new business or retire. Others wish to stay on during a transitional period. Some go on to grow their career with Sevita. We’ll discuss your goals and plan as needed throughout our process.
